Beginner and Intermediate Needlepoint Classes

Next Station Needlepoint is proud to announce beginner and intermediate needlepoint classes! Whether you're just starting to needlepoint or have been needlepointing for years, our classes will help improve your technique and give you great ideas for your other projects!

Beginner Needlepoint Classes

No prior experience is necessary for the beginner class. The basic stitches including the basketweave and the continental will be taught. The class meets for an hour and a half, once a week, for two weeks.

	This class includes:
	A handpainted canvas (13 mesh) chosen by the instructor.
	All necessary fibers, mainly wools and cottons.
	Stretcher bars and tacks.
	Clear project keeper.
	Needles and needle threaders.
	Instruction cards for the basic stitches.
	Homework assignments to help guide your progress at home.
	Instruction by one of our experienced stitchers.
	A finishing discount card for the class project when finished at Next Station Needlepoint.

Intermediate Needlepoint Classes

The intermediate class requires the stitcher to be very familiar with both of the basic stitches. More advanced stitches are taught and unique fibers are used in order to embellish the class project. The class meets for an hour and a half, once a week, for two weeks.

	The class includes:
	A handpainted canvas (18 mesh) chosen for its intricate details and embellishment potential.
	All necessary fibers, including metallics, silks, and fuzzies, depending on the design.
	Stretcher bars and tacks.
	Clear project keeper.
	Needles and needle threaders.
	Instruction cards for the basic and advanced stitches.
	Homework assignments to help guide your progress at home.
	Instruction by one of our experienced stitchers.
	A finishing discount card for the class project when finished at Next Station Needlepoint.
